Refund policy
Last updated: [date]
Proposed policy — the owner still has to confirm it. Until it is confirmed, contact support about any refund question.
In short
- Every device gets a free 10-day trial. Please use it to check that AG Player works with your device and playlist before paying.
- After a device has been activated, payments are not refunded, except in the cases below.
- You get a full refund if you paid twice for the same device and period.
- You get a full refund if you paid, the device was not activated, and support could not fix it within 7 days.
- Refunds are also given where the law requires it. At checkout you ask for immediate activation and confirm that you lose the 14-day EU withdrawal right once activation starts.
- To ask for a refund, contact us in the live chat or on Telegram with your Device ID and receipt number.
1. Free trial first
Every device gets a free 10-day trial with all features, without any payment details. Please use it to check that AG Player works with your device and your playlist before you pay. A licence is EUR 5.00 per device for one year.
2. No refunds after activation
Because the trial lets you test everything first and the licence is digital content supplied immediately, payments are not refunded once the device has been activated, except in the cases listed in section 3.
3. When we refund
- Duplicate payment. If you paid more than once for the same device and the same period (for example by pressing pay twice, or paying by PayPal and to a support agent), the extra payment is refunded in full.
- Payment taken but activation failed. If your payment was completed but the device was not activated, and our support could not fix this within 7 days of your first report, the payment is refunded in full.
- Where required by law. We give refunds wherever applicable consumer law requires it, for example if the App is faulty and cannot be repaired within a reasonable time.
Paid for the wrong Device ID? Tell us before the other device uses the licence and we move it to the correct Device ID instead.
4. EU / UK right of withdrawal
Consumers in the EU and UK normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content this right ends once the supply has started with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right. At checkout you must tick the box "I want activation to start immediately and understand I lose my 14-day withdrawal right" before you can pay. Activation then starts straight away, and from that moment the withdrawal right no longer applies. [Have a lawyer confirm this section and that the confirmation on the receipt meets the durable-medium requirement.]
5. What is not covered
- Problems with your playlist or provider: channels not working, "account expired", buffering caused by the stream, or a provider shutting down. AG Player does not include content, so these are outside our control.
- Change of mind after the licence has been activated, except where the law gives you a right to withdraw.
- Devices suspended for breaking the terms of use.
6. How to request a refund
Contact us in the live chat on this website or on Telegram with your Device ID, your receipt number (shown in My device under Receipts) and a short description. We reply within a few days. Approved refunds are paid back with the same method: PayPal refunds go to your PayPal account or card; crypto refunds are sent in the same coin to an address you provide, minus network fees, based on the [amount in EUR / amount of coins] paid. Manual payments are refunded by the method agreed with support.
A refunded licence is deactivated on the device.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a PayPal dispute or card chargeback; most issues are solved quickly. A device with an open chargeback may be deactivated until it is resolved.
